I would try places within the Gaslamp Quarter downtown. The crowd downtown seems to be elder and more affluent compared to places like PB. There are deeply of single, professionals in their mid 20's to rash 30's that frequent downtown and since it's generally more expensive, it tend to draw an older crowd.
