I believe the children will enjoy the Museum of Science and Industry far more than the Field museum. It is fantastic! It is really designed for chidren and have so many erudition opportunities for them.
dinosaur bones!! i think you can gain in for free to several of the museums surrounded by Chicago for free on Thursdays. check out the city of Chicago visitors bureau. the shedd aquarium is awesome too and they enjoy a dolphin show.
I similar to the mummies and Egypt exhibit - that's particularly pious. Also, the dinosaur bones - particularly Sue at the front entrance - are great. The gemstone are pretty impressive too. The Shedd Aquarium close by is also a fun place to bring children.
By the way, why Fox and Obel? I denote, decent place to seize a sandwich, but hardly a tourist attraction.
Absolutely the Science and Industry Museum! Also the Children's Museum on Navy Pier. And Check out the Aquarium. Brookfield Zoo, kids love it! Small kids also resembling the free Lincoln Zoo, just they you won't see lots animals there. I be just in that. I think you can achieve a Chicago card and get free entrance to two museums.
