No that was lone one incident, plus it would be too hard for the casinos to run metal detectors because of the thousands that walk through the doors everyday. The casinos already hold the technology in place (via cameras) to detect if someone is compassionate any weapons. I only think someone didn’t do near job or be not paying attention.

No, it be so isolated that it wouldn't be worth it. It was a one time slip up, most of the time wellbeing there is tight.

It would be immensely hard for casinos to implement metal detectors. Think going on for all the coins, cameras, jewelry, etc that ancestors are carrying around. It would be horrendous to see a line contained by front of every casino. Plus there are only too many entrances and exits, and path too many relations coming in and out. As someone else pointed out, within are already cameras and programs out there that can detect guns in pockets, etc. Security is extremely tight contained by Vegas, this was bound to evolve sooner or later - I cant believe it hasnt happen more often near the amount of hostility that can go on at all the casino table, bars, and beside all the drunks walking around.
