Tucson is rate as one of the most expensive cities to live in, but here really are not a lot of job there. There are service job, there's a military installation, the U of AZ, and medical hospitals. I think it's a place for engineers also.

The weather is mild except contained by the Summer when it's hot.

I like Tucson better than Phoenix. It's prettier, more Southwest opinion. It's has a cute art community, and more outdoor places to walk. Tucson is also basically one community, whereas, Phoenix is around 20 cities put together.
Living in Tucson is nice. There are frequent cultural events if you know where to look, such as plays and concerts beside national acts. There are wonderful restaurants serving abundant different kinds of food. We hold great sporting events such as Spring Training baseball and U of A basketball. The scenery is delicate and there are great outdoor goings-on, like hiking, going to the desert museum, and bicycling. There are also casinos for your gaming needs and heaps great little bars for the drinkers.

The weather is fitting in the winter, but otherwise I find it too hot. There are close mountains though, which are much cooler. There are beach just a few hours drive away within Mexico and you are 8 to 10 hours away driving from California.

The job flea market is ok, but it depends on what your profession is. Tucson doesn't have a big flea market for every profession, but if you look hard adequate you'll likely find something.
I can only speak of the weather it is hot contained by the summer, ten degrees or so cooler than Phoenix. In the winter it snows contained by the higher elevation.
It's sunny over 300 days a year, but we get a clothed amount of rain during the summer monsoon season. It occasionally gets cold at adjectives.

The average salary within Tucson is lower than it is in Phoenix. There aren't really *that* heaps good job here.

Living here is OK if you like the outdoors. But if you're not an outdoorsy type, there's really not much to do.

Knowing Spanish is a plus, because within are a lot of Spanish speakers here.
