How do I go and get from the San Diego Airport to Oceanside, CA? I requirement to use public transportation.?
I am visiting from Chicago. Never be to California
Answers:
take the bus route #992 to the Santa Fe Depot train station surrounded by downtown SD about 2 miles from the airport or you can bear a taxi too. Then transport either the Coaster commuter train northbound to OCeanside or you can appropriate an Amtrak train too, which has smaller number stops than the Coaster.
If you go to SD's transit website you can check schedule and plan your trip: http://www.sdcommute.com/
Cheapest passageway if you're not bringing a bunch of stuff: take the bus (992) from the airport to downtown. Stop at Broadway and 3rd (the NBC building should be right there). Then hop on the 20B until you seize to the Fashion Valley mall stop. You will after transfer to the 41 UCSD-VA Hospital. At the VA hospital, you will next transfer to the Breeze bus (101) which will nick you all the method to Oceanside.
Taking the train up: Coaster is usually not running as frequently as Amtrak unless it's Friday. It runs late that darkness, but you can either stir to Old Town and you can get a Coaster ticket. I deliberate the 1 day elapse works for Coaster though. No service on Sundays.
This is a great thing to do during the light of day.
Coaster all they path, imagine a train ride adjectives along the beach, sounds pretty nice eh? Thats the Coaster. Great business deal too. Enjoy your stay in California, starting to achieve cold in Chicago so this Southern California weather should heat up you up! Keep an eye out for me in the breakers near oceanside!
I agree with the one above me. The Coaster is the best route to go, cheap and a dazzling ride. Make sure you sit on the side along the ocean so you can see adjectives the beauty! Have a blast!
