Death Valley?
What is there to do surrounded by Death Valley as a tourist? I wouldn't want to just sit and acquire fried by the sun. Something exciting.

Tom C is right on about the wildflowers! Now is prime time. There is as someone said, Scotty's Castle (http://www.nps.gov/deva/historyculture/s... There is also Ubehebe Crater (http://geology.wr.usgs.gov/parks/deva/ft... the Sand Dunes by Stovepipe Wells settlement, Badwater (the lowest point in North America), Dante's View offer a stunning view of the park (I recommend going any very precipitate or in the evening, surrounded by the middle of the day the sun bleaches out adjectives the amazing colors in the park), the Artist Drive is markedly Worth a visit, in attendance is a relatively short hike to a Natural Bridge within the park, there are also a few Ghost Towns contained by and around Death Valley. If you like hiking at hand are tons of opportunities. Mosaic Canyon, Fall Canyon, Golden Canyon a short time ago to name a few.

If you walk now, it is great to see wildflower and other view, temp is around 85F.

I have be through there and did not see a article but desert and a big thermometer and it was hot too.
The one and only thing I remember around Death Valley was Scotties Castle and I am not sure exactly where on earth it was but it be kind of interesting. If you are going surrounded by the summer then within are a lot of cactus within bloom in the spring.
