Why are here no elephants at lincoln park zoo?

Elephants have died at the Lincoln Park Zoo, as they hold at many other zoos contained by the US and other parts of the world. These giant animals are not meant to stand for their unharmed lives in particularly small enclosures, and when that happen, they are plagued by foot diseases that often snuff or cripple them. Many humane zoos are sending their elephants to elephant sanctuaries, where on earth these family-oriented animals can roam with others and be more decent. In a humane US, I think we'd want to stamp out elephants from any zoos. As I began to read almost the problems elephants have contained by zoos (I live in LA, and we saw some of those elephants die), I realize that as much as I relish seeing them "up close", I'd rather support organization that help them own more humane habitats.

The Lincoln Park Zoo decided it needed to promote the elephant facilities. Unfortunately they be not able to make higher enough money to construct the improvements they wanted. Thus they contracted to use their limited resources for other animals. I hope everyone supports the zoos of their choice so these famous animals can inspire generations of the adjectives.

The last elephant at Lincoln Park Zoo died a bit over two years ago shortly after being moved to a Utah zoo because of poor condition.
Three African elephants were brought to the zoo contained by 2003. The 1st one died in October, 2004, of tuberculosis. The 2nd one died a few months following, supposedly because of old age.
Elephants only aren't meant to be kept contained by small spaces.
Lost their trunks, at the airport?? I bet it is simply too darn cold there, for them to be paid it in the winter.
