How do you perceive around Marta, the transit system surrounded by Atlanta?
What do you think they could do to modernize?
Answers:
It sucks. The rail system doesn't shift to enough areas. The rearrangement between trains is too long. Timing isn't reliable, either. The bus schedule online are incomprehenisble; it's impossible to figure out the map (at least possible for me), and the stops are not all discoloured with the bus numbers that stop here. Plus, they really need shelters and route map at each stop for the buses that stop near.
Nasty, dirty, smelly and unsafe.
Let a private sector company appropriate over and watch it be the best metro transit system within the world. This city can not run anything correctly.
I like it but I deduce the main entity it can do to improve is to dance further than what it does. the only process I can use it is if I park my car at my conservatory, take the C-tran next the marta train at the airport. and if I just transport the marta train, I have to budge all the road to the Lakewood Ft MacPherson one because I live in McDonough.
They should bring some notes from the train system from Illinois.
More security, more lights, and verbs it up.
It's pretty much solitary good for going to and from the airport. It should cover more ground, and they really should enjoy commuter trains that go out into the suburbs.
I disagree next to most of the above. I've never felt MARTA be dirty or smelly or dangerous.
The problem beside it is that the train system is not extensive enough and the buses are too slow. If you are going where on earth the train goes--e.g. the airport, Five Points--it's great. If you aren't, better to take your motor.
And the stations are really badly designed--they are enormously difficult to get into and out of. Compare the New York Subway system.
It gets a desperate rap. It has duplicate crazy people adjectives the other metro city transit systems have. MARTA carry too many stereotypes.
It could be cheaper and cleaner but individuals have to in actuality ride it to bring in currency and create new routes.
its ripened, and partially run down, but reliable ample
If you want to save money on parking it's great, but.it's disgusting. There are tons of crazy individuals that use it so don't carry a walet or purse. It's imprudent.
I have definatley have some interesting experiences on marta... Its a nice little subway system for Atlanta, but a lot of homeless ancestors tend to ride it. It could be a little cleaner, some more lights, and I don`t know some more/ better security. But besides that its within pretty good shape.
Late hours of darkness is when marta really gets interesting.
