How come Rhode Island is a state meanwhile Long Island NY is larger and not a state?
I am just wondering, if you squish long island into R.I size it is larger, so why is it not a state? It does hold enough associates to, theres like 2 million citizens. Did you ever wonder why Long Island doesn't become a state because i always needed to know.
P.S I know someone is gonna say that L.I is not larger than R.I. Say anything you want, but go on Google Earth and really look at it and you will see that L.I is one and the same size, maybe even larger (I reckon larger)

i saw on the communication like 10 min ago that LI might become the 51st state and they said near are 3 million residence living here

Rhode Island be a colony that became a state, and Long Island is sector of another colony that became a state: New York.
start a revolution. Propose that Rhode Island become part of New York (that would suck for places resembling Providence though) and that Long Island become a state. Call your governors...or better yet RUN for govenor of Long Island...yeah!!
