The pouring season in Porland is from January 1st to December 31st.

But seriously, it can run more or less adjectives year. Generally, after July 4th to Labor Day are usually rain-free.

This summer it rained alot, though.
friendly people, lots of things to see & do, exquisite country, mild weather... well, sure, it does rainfall alot, but mostly in the winter, and the summers are nice, lone an hour and a half to the coast, if you resembling the outdoors but also like the convenience of the city, this is the place to be!
I think what make PDX unique is the different family that live in this city. There are the tree huggers, business populace, artistic people, smart inhabitants, laid back family and just incessant amounts of differnet people and adjectives that.

The cons of this city is the constuction that is going downtown. The problem beside the growing city is that there's more need for more room for transportation. Currently the city is installing the foreign tri-met max system. Though it will be great, logistically right now it's a twinge to get around the city for the subsequent year or two. Another con is some of the protests that goes around int PDX. Although they are expressing their right for free speech at hand are some that take it a bit farther than mundane. There used to be a group called Critical Mass where on earth bikers gather downtown and pocket over the street on the last Friday of respectively month. The group was nice at first, sharing roads beside the cars, but than as it grew it got worse and worse where on earth people get hold of into road rage antics.

The pros of this city is the the confident to get around town. Most of PDX is pretty leveled and smooth to shop and run around town. Max is easy to return with on and off and it's free up to a positive point. The buildings downtown are very nice and it doesn't enjoy the big city feel to it. Portland also have one of the bigger booms in the housing bazaar. Lots of homes in the SE nouns are very gorgeous.

There are some parts that need modification but overall its very livable and suitable place to chill out.
