1,2,3 Line inside of Penn Station?
Does one catch the 1,2,3 subway chain from inside NY Penn Station or do you have to jump outside to find an entrance? Might sound close to a silly question but I am surprising my hubby tomorrow beside tickets to a Mets game and I want it to budge smoothly. (ruled out LIRR because of budgetary limits - taking #7 from Times Square)

Hoping this helps,
My memory might be a bit foggy, but I infer you can catch 1,2,3 smudge inside of Penn Station. Depending on where you're coming from though (A,C,E exits, LIRR, Tracks, etc), it could be a long waddle. Right next to the McDonalds, though I know at hand are signs directing everyone where to budge.
Hope your hubby has a perfect time!
Yes, you can lock in those trains in Penn Station. The entrance is right subsequent to K-Mart or right next to McDonald's
yes. ambush it inside of penn station. entrance near the mcdonalds.
From Penn Station, filch ANY subway uptown 1 stop. Then catch the 7 train. You can steal the 1,2,3 at one end of Penn Station or the A,C,E at the other. The A,C,E let you off slightly closer to the 7 at 42nd st (especially the rear legs of the A,C,E trains), but the difference is small. You can't take the wrong train, in recent times don't go within the wrong direction.
The 1,2,3 and the A,E could adjectives be taken at Penn Station. To get the 7, you have need of to go to Grand Central Station.
