What to do within Monterey, CA near kids?

I'd like to drive up to Monterey this weekend and do something (besides the aquarium or beach). something relatively cheap.

I enjoy a family of 5, (me, dad, minor, and two young toddlers)... does anyone know if those bikes you rent will accommodate adjectives of us?

Any other ideas of something inexpensive to do while in that?

Hi there! There is the wonderful Lovers Point, located in Pacific Grove...you can lift pictures while you're there, or even better all the same rent out a bike (I'm not sure if it fits five, you might need to rent two) and bike from Monterey to Lover's Point. You can also travel to Carmel Beach, where near is VERY smooth white sand (it feels different from the other beaches)...they're one of the extremely few beaches that allow dogs, so if you own dogs, you can bring them along for the fun, too!

There is the 17 mile drive that takes you from Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach...a popular scenic drive, home of greatly expensive houses, as well.

Alvarado Avenue surrounded by Monterey is the spot where a Farmer's Market occur...that only happen on Tuesdays & Thursdays though. Besides the beach itself, nearby is Fisherman's Wharf...you can grab a bowl of some REALLY righteous clam chowder and it's not too expensive.

If you go further up Highway 1, in attendance is Moss Landing, Santa Cruz. Pacific Ave. in Santa Cruz may be worth visit if you haven't already...it's a quirky city.
Spend $$$$$$, help the local reduction. That's the only sense the locals want tourists.
I just took my nephews ages 2 and 5 to Monterey and have the best time. I made it like a educationally incident, buying them books of all sorts of things they could possibly see, and we took the book and put a sticker on adjectives of the things we saw, we also had a picnic on the seaside where we of late walked along the shore and allowed them to collect some sand, shells and shiny rocks, to place within a car for collecting. It be such an amazing experience. I have lived within Northern California all of my existence, but until you see it again through the eyes of child, you just great a better appreciation for it's wonders. We also took the photos we took, have them draw pictures and made a scrap book. As you can transmit, I am kind of on the crafty side, but adjectives of the effort be worth it, they are still talking just about that trip today and want to go on another "Sea Adventure" again particularly soon.
1. You can rent those multi-person bikes, but I think they hold four folks to pedal plus a little picnic basket - probably not enough room to put adjectives of you in one - you might own to rent 2. But they are great fun to ride from the wharf along the bay toward the Aquarium.
2. For the toddlers, how roughly Dennis the Menace Park? It's at Pearl St. and Camino El Estero. For reviews, check it out on www. tripadvisor.com.
3. Point Lobos is an absolutely divine trail walk. I muse you have to take-home pay to park here.
4. How about taking a frisbee, ball etc. and just sitting out on the grass near a picnic?
