Fun things to do inside driving distance of Chicago?
My boyfriend and I live in Northern IL and we're looking for something fun to do for the weekend. Probably to stay the darkness this Saturday to Sunday. The weather doesn't look nice and we dont want to spend a ton of money. We were looking to the Dells but sea slides seem to be the lone thing we can do within right now. Any Ideas??

There are dinner cruises approaching Spirit of Chicago or the Oddssey. They will run you along the skyline, it is a pretty ride and you get dinner and dance included.
If you haven't been to Springfield shift down there. Lots of correct food, try a horseshoe! Also, if you haven't seen the fresh Lincoln Presidential Museum & Library, it is really really neat.
