NYC locals singular please:Can you recommend apartment brokers?
Hello,
I am relocating from the west coast to New York in June for work. I am doing a verbs with my existing company. My nouns is to live in Manhattan. Can anyone recommend any dutiful apartments brokers (company or individual) that did a good service for them. Thanks within advance!

This will work better if you specify a neighborhood. Most New Yorkers will just use a broker as a last resort (see above posts roughly speaking Craigslist being a better option) and most brokers specialize surrounded by a small area of concrete estate, so you're more likely to trigger someone's memory if you specify.

You need to be more specific than Manhattan. Most New Yorkers just use a broker if they really want to live in a totally specific section of a specific neighborhood.
If you want warning on a broker, ask about a specific neighborhood. Remember that most neighborhoods contained by NY are bigger than the average US city--it helps to be specific near *everything* here.
I agree beside first post. Its better you save you money on the broker and hunt for an apartment on you own. A broker within this city, especially in Manhattan, will charge an arm and a leg.
