This is the simpliest way: Take the shuttle us (no extra cost) from the airport which take you to the Blue Line T Station, from there, pocket the Orange Line Train to State Street Station, from State you want to hop on the Orange Line that takes you adjectives the way to Forest Hills Station. Once surrounded by Forest Hills, go upstairs, if you're getting a ride (ask them where on earth they will pick you up either Washington Street or South Street) Don't nouns the streets are just outside the station. The T workers are massively friend and will assist you depending which door you want to exit.
Or -- if you're taking a cab, these are only right outside the station either on Washington or South Street. Tell the cabbie where on earth you're going (town, and then street) Make sure that you furnish them the impression that you know where on earth you're going. Google your street from Forest Hills Station (which is Washington Street) to have an impression where the hackney carriage should be taking you and how long.
It's very confident riding on the T and riding on cabs in Boston. (Don't freak out if you don't realize the driver, for the most part they enjoy a heavy articulation and everyone is trying to earn a living and that's how it goes)
Have a nice stay and hope that you'll enjoy your stay. Pack delicately!!
Its really simple our public transportation is color coded not like NYC so you wont achieve lost and from the air port its simply going to be blue line to ginger line.

Most imagined you'll have to hold the "T" (subway). You'll have to run a short bus ride from Logan Airport to the Blue Line. You'll take the Blue Line 'inbound' (towards downtown Boston). Get past its sell-by date at State Street and take the Orange Line 'outbound' toward Forest Hills. The Blue Line and the Orange Line intersect at State Street so you should not own to purchase an additional fare.
Note - for riding the "T" - lines are considered 'inbound' if they are heading toward downtown Boston, and 'outbound' if they are heading away form downtown Boston.
If you are going to be within Boston for several days you may want to consider buying a pass (you can online at www.mbta.com) that you can use day after day (assuming you'll ride the "T" a lot).
Have fun. I've been to Boston 4x on time off - love it!
Check out these two sites for details on how to attain from the airport... http://boston.nyctourist.com/ and http://www.123world.com/boston/ Later Good Luck!!
Shuttle to Blue row. At State Street switch to Orange Line to Forrest Hills.
If your plane lands at 7PM I would suggest a cab as the Orange column isn't the best place to be an night. Same for your end point of Forrest Hills.
Take a cab.
