Will the week of September 13-20 be busy, slow, or enjoy moderate crowds at Walt Disney World?
We are thinking about doing the free dining plan, and this is the second week to go. Figured that since kids are put money on in schol, it may be a better time to stir. I know it will still be quite thaw, and the possibility of a hurricane exists (I was nearby for Charley), but we can handle that...only just want an idea of what to expect crowdwise.

ONLY if you go while kids are at arts school it should be pretty moderate.
if you decide to walk during summer ITS HOT, LINES ARE FULL ITS PACKED.. thats when its cheapest.

The free dining plan sell out pretty quickly. If you don't hold your reservations yet, you may not be capable of take positive aspect of this. There are only a absolute number of rooms in respectively resort that qualify for this discount - you don't automatically get it for person there during that time. If you are thinking more or less a trip during that time, you should call for reservations ASAP. Usually this isn't a utterly busy time at WDW, but thanks to the free dining plan the parks are much busier.
Just to permit you know. We got free dining for the week of Sept 20-27th. Since we are checking surrounded by on the 20th the whole week counts for the free dining!
I live contained by Florida and crowdwise, you are correct - September (after Labor Day) is one of the best times to go to Disney since adjectives the kids are back surrounded by school.
As far as the weather, yes it will still be thaw out, but the hottest months in Florida are July and August (June is pretty hot too). September is tolerable boil wise!

I would utter Moderate, it used to be a ghost town but as you can predict Disney offers up free dining to steep up their hotel rooms so it is a but busier than average, if you do go for the free dining be sure to engender your reservations ASAP as everything fills up efficiently
15-20 min lines. It isn't that unpromising. I would love to go during this time and want we did. It would've saved us $800 on food. The weather isn't too doomed to failure either, of late make sure you stop by a walmart and pick up some really cheap ponchos within case it rain on you. A lot of the restaurants are very expensive though. For a week's dining, expect to money about $200 contained by tips by the end of your trip. And seriously of the workers at the food services will be irritable, so just a word of off-putting while ordering. They win testy whenever they run this free dining plan. Avoid the park's sit down places, unless it's epcot, and eat at greatly of the resorts. They have amazing restaurants whereas the park's food is nil to write home about. Have a great trip!
Im afraid to right to be heard that no matter when you progress Disney World is always psychosis. There are so many society from all around the world going that its other busy.
I go at that time of year a couple of years ago, and it was pretty biddable. It's still a little hot and it's still rather crowded, but not as bad. There are still a right amount of kids, who either get that time off from arts school, or you'll find a lot of European kids who haven't have to get put money on to school all the same. Or maybe kids who own year round school and that week they hold off. But it's still not partially as bad as the summer. The dally lines go soon (usually) so that's good. Just don't expect few crowds. It's Disney World, you'll still hold crowds. But I suggest that time frame to go.
There is no slow season at disney. Your other gonna have crowds.
