What are some fun home places to call round surrounded by Boston? Good restaurants?

They are so many spruce places to see. I suggest that you take a trolley type tour. You can attain on and off at various popular sites in the city.
I loved visit there! History really comes alive!

My planning:
Good restaurants: Legal Sea Foods in the Prudential Center, but it's a bit pricey; almost anywhere in the North End (the Italian district), especially Mike's Pastry!! Mike's have the best cannoli in the world, and I cogitate your kids would have a fun time looking at the humongous cake and pastries they have nearby :). Plus, the North End is close to Boston Harbor, so you could go on a transport ride if the weather is nice.
Other must-sees:
--Boston Common! Beautiful park and always vibrant. The historic Freedom Trail starts here and will front you to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market (super fun shops and food gallery). Street performers (hip-hop dancers and drummers) are found contained by this area, and Ben Franklin shows up for photos from time to time!
--Fenway Park for a Red Sox spectator sport! Go Sox.
--I've heard that the children's museums are really fun.
--Trinity Church, across from (and reflect on the glass of) the John Hancock Tower.

Yum, at hand also a place that sells Gelato call The Gellateria, it's fabulous! Go for the lemon, but they have something like 50 flavors.
I would suggest a tour of the Freedom Trail, I still get goosebumps thinking roughly it, if you don't want to walk, they enjoy Duck Tours of Boston.
There's a building in the Boston Commons which is constituent of their tourism agency...they have a ton of pamphlet and ideas for trips or tours...how roughly Haunted Boston?
