Is the Naked Cowboy so great within New York City?
I saw the Naked Cowboy in NYC and read some articles nearly him after I returned to my country. Is he really so popular? I have taken a photo of him for my blog:

The first time I saw him I was pretty surprised, but after that it be just generous of funny that he's out there. I don't make available him a second look unless he's a sight I'm showing to a tourist.
To us NYers, not really because we see him all the time. But for tourists, yes because he's individual in NYC so he's considered infamous.
hahaha he's resembling a cult type of thing. He represents New York contained by a way. The creative quirkiness of a busy city. And it's awesome to have your picture taken beside a fully grown man in tighty-whiteies singing somewhat inadequately and playing the guitar :D
He's not THAT famous but abundant tourists like to stop by and pinch pics with him when they are within Times Square. Personally, I have never see him and I'm a native New Yorker. :P
I've been seeing him on Forty Duce since I be in glorious school, that be 9 years ago. He's not popular with NY'ers, but tourist resembling him, and he was within the Nickleback video for Rockstar.

I don't thinking for the guy. I've seen him plenty of times, but I've also see plenty of out-of-the "norm" stuff here too..
Examples:
- people getting pickpocketed contained by front of me
- a guy wrapped up in aluminum foil
- a chick that get out of a car, who lift her dress and peed on the sidewalk
- the guy who got out of that same saloon .. piss drunk - pants down..
So do I meditate it's strange? Na..that's New York..

He's popular with the tourists. NY'ers couldn't supply a rats a$$ about him.
