From Allen Parkway facing downtown.
Someone asked this recently.

I'll furnish the same answer here as I did next:

Tinsley Park. You'll get great shots from in attendance.
I know the answer to this one - because I said I be going to do it one day!

1) Memorial Drive heading into downtown. There is a hillock and the FABULOUS downtown skyline. I stopped there and took some shots myself

2) Heading 288 North, whip the 59 South exit ramp. Not sure if you can stop on the ramp, but this is a GREAT view as powerfully.

3) Heading 45 South towards downtown, once you get closer to downtown, within are some AWESOME vantage points.

Of all of these, I cogitate #1 is the most practical and safest.LOL
Go up in a heli & lift an aerial shot.
