Authentic and specialty German Stores and resturants surrounded by california??
I have two friends who a short time ago moved from germany and they are so home sick. Any ideas on where on earth I can find german places?

There are a few places in So Cal that your friends can capture their germany fix at.
Glendale - The Red Lion Resturaunt - This is a great german resturaunt with a great outdoor beer garden on the roof.
Torrance - Alpine Village - Good resturaunt, but a bit run down as the other poster noted
Huntington Beach - Old World Village - Great little german village near all kind of quaint shops and a righteous resturaunt and bar. This is where on earth I get my German fix at!
Anaheim - The Pheonix Club - Great resturaunt and a great deal nicer than Alpine Village.
I am sure there is more places contained by SoCal, but these I have be to and enjoyed respectively of them for their own reasons.

Go to Alpine Village in Torrance! It is mature and run down, but at least it is sort of German still. Delis and endowment shops.
