Cocoa Beach is the closest. It's a pretty nice seaside, I would recommend it. Been many times.
I would try Tampa, I enjoyed the beach there and near was plenty to do. It be only roughly an hour and a half drive to the seaside but it was worth it. Specially to find a unflappable one, it is nice to get away from adjectives the crazyness that disney can bring.
One hour to cocoa coast from disney.new smyrna is going on for an hour and 45 mins...the west coast (st pete beach, etc) is a apposite 2 hrs plus. East coast has top, west coast does not, take your pick...delight in
I've be to Cocoa Beach and also to a smaller beach call Playalinda Beach. On Playalinda, we saw sea turtle eggs and numerous the deep birds; we were among the merely people at hand. At Cocoa Beach there are more services (i.e., boogie board rentals and restaurants and so forth) and parking be more difficult. I will warn you it is pretty squally on the Atlantic side! We've been thinking of trying the Gulf side on our subsequent trip; I haven't been within since I was a kid so I can't really let somebody know you about it.
Cocoa Beach is only for a while under an hour away. I resembling to do the same article when I am down there and I other goto Cocoa. If you want to go West to the gulf St. Petersburg is nearly 2 hours and is an awesome beach! Remember though the gulf does not hold waves.
Orlando's something like an hour from the coast Atlantic side. Hour and a half gulf side. I've solitary been to the gulf side Clearwater nouns (indians rocks beach) It's okay nothing amazing. I've hear cocoa beach is nice, sounds a bit touristy tho. Have fun.
Hi, I live in Orlando. I guess it a moment ago depends on how much time you want to spend on the road. The drive out to Cocoa Beach is assured and will take something like 45-50 minutes... pretty much on one road. Ron Jon's Surf Shop is fun especially for kids to shop at and the beach is nice. It is right subsequent to Kennedy Space Center too and that is a cool place to walk through.

Clearwater's beach is fun too but the drive will be rather longer ( I think in the region of an hour and a half). My only complaint is that I abhorrence I-4 because of traffic and crazy drivers and that is pretty much the unharmed way to Clearwater. The shoreline is nicer though and the water may be a bit stove than the East coast. I like both, lately depends on how far you want to drive and what you want to do when you get at hand. Have fun!
