San Francisco Transbay at dark?
I'm a foreigner, planning to go to the states by arriving at the SFO int'l airport and afterwards taking a Greyhound bus to Reno (my destination). I'll arrive at SF in the delayed afternoon and as I checked the schedule, the single bus I can possibly catch is the one that go away by 1.00 am.
Are there any places you might reccommend as the nontoxic place to stay while waiting for the bus? Is the area not dangerous for a female who travel alone? I own stayed in the US for a couple months but never be to SF. And what is the best way to take to the transbay (from the airport)?

I would NOT hang around the airport at dark lot's of Gang activity and try not to be fumbled or stand out because race will know you are a tourist and would target you so the safes thing you can do is check within to a motel but don't check into a motel with hourly rates I've be told it's not safe.
I wouldn't hang around the Transbay Terminal alone at dark.
You might want to just receive an inexpensive motel room for the day, any in the city or close to the airport, and cart a cab over to the terminal to shut in your bus.
Just a note: I'm not sure of your arrival time, but I checked the Greyhound agenda and note there's a bus departing at 11:40 PM.
Walking around late at darkness may not be safe for a manly or female. Perhaps you could fly to Reno instead of taking a bus. Inside the bus station would probably be safer than walking around outside. Don't meander around with a map contained by your hand (you'll look approaching a tourist). Just keep it within your pocket and take it out solely when you need to look up something. This is moral general warning in any city, not purely SF.
It is undeniably NOT SAFE at that time at night. You involve to get on an more rapidly bus, OR take a bus to another bus stop (santa cruz, sacramento) so you can gain on the reno bus earlier..
