Best affordable neighborhoods to move to surrounded by Houston, TX?
We finally made a decision and we are going to move to Houston, so we be wondering what are the most affordable neighborhoods to move to in Houston.

Rigth now near the way construction is going the East / Northeast suburbs of Houston are the cheapest i.e.
Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Crosby, Huffman, Dayton - only to name a few.
The problem is (unless you are out in the boonies) a appropriate neighborhood costs more, and there is smaller quantity of a chance it is affordable. I tight-fisted, Acres Home is affordable, but you couldn't pay me to live in that. The best thing to do is find a neighborhood convenient to where on earth y'all work.
I live in a great neighborhood, but it is a bit more expensive than average. It is worth it, though, as I can tramp at night and merely fear flying owl dung (or taking a wrong step and finding the stationary canine equivalent). Nice neighbors, little crime, and great location are worth the cost of living here (Memorial area). The nouns is convenient to me and to my wife, with us working roughly equidistant contained by opposite directions.
A suburb of Houston called Kingwood is the opening to go. Schools are awesome (I go to middle and high university there). The town has everything you want surrounded by town, but a mall roughly 5 miles away and plenty of restaraunts around that mall. Housing is remarkably affordable in Kingwood.
I Live contained by Shadow Creek in Pearland TX a moment ago 15 min from the Medical center.

It adjectives depends on what area you are working in--Houston is HUGE so if you are working downtown, it make no sense to live in the Woodlands... If you are working surrounded by the Galleria I would suggest living in the Galleria, Sugarland, or West Houston. The second thing you want to do is pick the wrong nouns then spending 10 hours a year in your saloon, not to mention the horrific prices on gas.
My best suggestion to you is to live in one of the suburbs of Houston approaching Katy, Sugarland, Pearland, Clear Lake. They have affordable housing (ie you can win a NEW 3-4 bedroom home for $200K and up).
If you own children, DO NOT move into HISD unless you're going to put them in a magnet academy or private school. We're house shopping in a minute and I only shop by district.
Friendswood, Clear Creek, Cy Fair (barely) and Pearland are adjectives good districts to look for houses surrounded by.
