i muse because the weather is always striking (minus the hurricanes now and then), the nation are hot, the music, food, and culture is just something that draws ethnic group to it, miami is all around flashy fun and sun! plus, the houses are awesome, and im sure you can get a nice priced house/apt on the marine... i mean who wouldnt wanna live on the shoreline!? also, there are alot of modeling agencies, and movies which are film in miami.. my guess is that relations just dribble in love next to the place!

Coral Gables and Biscayne Bay is nice but thats just about it. Celebs live near those areas I don`t know not so much Coral Gables but those are the only nice rich places contained by Miami everything else is slums kinda. Miami gone dooown hill :-(
Star Island (between South Beach and downtown) and Fort Lauderdale!
There are private communities located on islands down here off the causway..close to Star Island, Palm Island, Hibiscus Island, and Fisher Island...but security is tight. The houses are oversize, with boat slips for their yachts.

These are the nices parts of Miami from someone who knows Miami extraordinarily well.
Miami Lily is the only one next to a good start, although Coral Gables is contained by there too. South Beach--from southern tip of Miami Beach to the waterway (around 21st Street) and from ocean to inlet (that's the real boundaries of Miami Beach's South Beach regardless of what the ad and some promoters claim)--has mostly renters of modest apartments, duplexes and single-family dwellings. (The only exception be Versace's Ocean Drive home, where he turned the hoary Amsterdam Apartments into his mansion, Casa Causarina.) But, the rest of Miami Beach--including the first three islands mentioned by Miami Lily (Fisher Island is in Miami, not Miami Beach) is loaded near rich and famous homes. Other places: Coconut Grove, Bal Harbour, Miami Shores and a few others I can't contemplate of right now.
