Can you recommend a budget hotel contained by chicago, close at hand the city center?

Try the Cass Hotel. 1-8OO-227-7850 It's not fancy, but you can walk almost every where on earth. I have walk to Water Tower Place, Navy Pier, The River, The Hard Rock, many pizza places, Rock and Roll McDonald's, lots of honest restaurants, Michigan Ave. "The Magnificent Mile", etc. It used to cost around $89 a night a couple years ago. It's lately off the corner of Ontario and Wabash.

It's single $99 a night if you book on Orbitz and have a pub and restaurant in the hotel. and it's within the middle of downtow, so it has comfortable access to most everywhere.
