Has anyone used Craigslist to find NYC accomadations?
I am going to NYC in April and am looking for something better than a hostel but not $200 a hours of darkness. I have checked out Craigslist and found some lead, but have never used Craigslist for this purpose previously. I wanted to see if anyone else have and what their thoughts were.

Yes, my mom and I used it, but cheapest one is mostly contained by Brooklyn, Staten Island or upper Manhattan, but it not very upright area, resourcefully as Long Island, and NJ.
I never own but I have referred nation to it and they have told me it worked out really capably. A hell of a lot cheaper than a hotel.
