2 miles high is almost 10,500 ft up. No cities in Colorado are that illustrious, but there is a town i.e. almost that high up. Here's a roll of the highest towns contained by the state:
1. Alma - 10,355 ft
2. Montezuma - 10,335 ft
3. Leadville - 10,152 ft
4. Blue River - 10,020 ft
Leadville is the highest city, Alma is the upmost town. Both are about 100 miles west of Denver and south of I-70 surrounded by the neighborhood of Colorado's highest peak. Alma is on CO-9, Leadville one pass over on US-24.
