Can anyone recount me how to win from Haledon, NJ to Manhattan beside public transportation?
I will be staying there on holiday and I want to spend most of my time within NYC. Would it make any sense to drive near the car to a point along the path and then pilfer a bus or subway? I am looking for the cheapest, easiest possibility. Thanks!!

There are buses that stop in Haledon and Paterson.I'm not sure exactly where on earth you can get on though and how long it take with adjectives the stops.
I would just catch a ride to the train station in Hawthorne (one town away from Haledon). The train will thieve you about 30-40 minutes to grasp to Penn Station (madison square garden).from there it is jammy to get around Manhattan any by walking or taking the subway. The train costs about $10 roundtrip from Hawthorne.
Here is the website for the nj transit train service:

I would suggest taking NJ Transit (train) as okay. Although check where the train go to, as a friend of my used to commute from North Haledon (and believe she took the train from Hawthorne) and it ended at Hoboken. She consequently would have to clutch the Path train in (kinda similar to NJ's Subway) into the city. Mass transit is definitely the simplest and cheapest instrument to go.
