I no longer really want to walk to any zoo or circus. I made this decision long past this incident. I don't believe that animals should be confined in a foreign environment. I do not believe that animals should be forced to get something done for the enjoyment of humans.
No, but I never was a supporter of the SF Zoo; it always seem lacking.

I used to take my kids at hand when, but I admit I enjoy been terrified off, especially since they haven't discovered exactly how the tiger get out.
If I had no children, I would probably be okay to drop by the zoo; but my babies would be just a mouthful for a hungry tiger.

Because they are probably going to be more safety mistrustful than ever. Animals are unpredictable & smart too, tragedies like this can appear anywhere. You never know. I hope you don't let this stop you from enjoy the animals.

um probably not...even though it is "undisruptive now". i would probably be nervous in that.
Yeah, of course I would. Then again, I'm not a douchebag who would taunt/harass/sling rocks at tigers, so I really doubt I'd hold anything to worry just about.
I went within several times when I was younger and never have any problem whatsoever.
EDIT to LAURIE: While I agree about circuses, and indisputable zoos... Zoos have truly been thoroughly beneficial to the ecosystem, and even repopulating numbers of endangered animals. Ideally, animals would procure to live happily contained by the wild... but beside hunting, industry, farming, urban sprawl and unknown housing developments, etc... their habitat is constantly being diminished, and they're constantly human being hunted and killed for their fur, to sort way for housing for general public, etc... Zoos are one of the few places that many can be past the worst. Yellowstone, for example, basically started stale as a tourist attraction/exhibit of wild bison when they be near extinction... the revenue from folks seeing them is part of what be used to help thoroughness for and repopulate them.

Not in the close by future, but I'm sure I would subsequent on. Once I was at a zoo where on earth a huge gorilla escaped, but they were competent to get it spinal column into it's enclosure short it hurting anyone.
yea it was 4 dumbace drunk and elevated kids tauntin the poor tiger ive been here many plentiful times and the tiger exibit is my fav part i go the day it reopened and i dont grain any less secure than usual

Yes. This was a freak fluke, and personally I believe the tiger wouldn't hold tried to jump at them if the boys hadn't provoked her. I treat animals next to respect.
