Where can I hold my daughter to see dolphins or alligators surrounded by san francisco?
I remember visiting a place that have an alligator "pit" but I don't know the name of it. I thought that might be a fun place to cart her to see alligators. But I am lost on where to find dolphins...
Answers:
The San Francisco Zoo has a Caiman which is similar to an alligator. The California Academy of Sciences be the place to go to see alligators. Unfortunately it's closed until the downfall of September.
If you're willing to travel the Oakland Zoo have an alligator exhibit.
Six flags, discovery park has dolphins, whales, elephants, tigers, giraffe's, birds, sharks, and I forget what else, besides roller coasters, but no alligators. The one and only place I have ever be to where you can see alligators is Florida, and Louisiana, Audubon zoo contained by New Orleans. They have white ones here too. Awesome!
There used to be an alligator pit at Stienhart Aquarium. But I deduce it is closed down for a remodel.
Try Discovery Park, best known as Marine World contained by Vallejo.
