I need to be close to the Yahoo shuttles but also close plenty to walk to a cute cafe and shops... I am single so I inevitability a relatively safe nouns as well. No pets, non-smoker, no vehicle, and great credit so I am not worried about them renting it to me as I do not hold any no-go issues,.. but I want to narrow my turn out ~ Nob Hill, Lower Nob, Hayes Valley, Marina, ughh! so many! I would close to the best for my price range and all the same nice enough for mom to call on and feel undisruptive. Help Please! 1500 = max* thank you. i appreciate it.

1500 is enough for a studio or tiny apartment contained by almost any neighborhood. Have you looked at craigslist? That's really where you' can obtain an idea of costs vis neighborhoods.
What neighborhoods does the shuttle jump to? Could you provide a link of its route?
That said, I suggest looking into Hayes Vally or Noe Valley - they're childlike, hip, safe neighborhoods. Sadly, they're small, homeowner-centric areas, so finding a small place might be fairly difficult.
Lower nob hill is collectively a euphemism for the tenderloin - crackhead city. Stay away!
I dont know where yahoo shuttles are but try www.baysidevillage.com. Your mom will discern very satisfied if you live there Its an experience . It have more than just an apt It have movies, community rooms, gym, pools so its more $ but if its near the yahoo shuttle you amass. Plus young culture there. Hayes dell your mom wont like. Nob hillock is too remote from what young associates do. Marina weather is too cool.
I'm moving ther subsequent month and going to live way outside the city (about 45 minutes) And we're still going to be paying over $1,500 for a 1 bdrm apartment contained by a safe neighborhood! I didn't know $1,500 be even do-able in downtown SF. Is it?
For $1500 you can get a nice studio surrounded by a variety of neighborhoods--with the exception of Nob Hill or the Marina; they're greatly pricey.
