Boston residents/locals, please comfort!?
Locals, please help me out here: I'm visit Boston soon and was wondering give or take a few your favorite places to shop, eat, etc. I'm going around the 4th of July, so is the play any good? I be also thinking of checking out Fenway Park.
Any other info would be helpful.

Go to Cheers, Quincy Market, any of the museaums (Science, Fine Arts), Check out Newbury Street too, it have a European quality to it. No concern what, Boston in the summer is a fun place to be!
Defintatly visit Fenway. Their tours are solitary $12 a person and $10 a child which is not fruitless at all.
Science muesam is a great place too. Don't run to the arquirum it is wicked small and for the price they charge you it is not worth it.
Fanuel Hall
Qunicy Market (it's within the same place as fanuel hall) It have tons of different foods and they are all reprehensible good.
Duck Tour is great if you own $30 a person.
JFK library.
Freedom trail is nice and you see plentifully while walking it.
Since your going in the summer you should check out the haunted tours of Boston. I did it when I be a kid and it was mean awesome.
You can go to the top of the prudential tower. John Hanock 60 floor have been closed to public and presently has office so they do not do sky tours anymore.
Boston Public Library
Newbury street has great shopping.
Downtown Crossing have shopping as well.
Pizzeria Regina surrounded by the North end is aberrant good.
Make sure you hold some seafood we have great clam chowder.
My favorite restaurants; Fire and Ice, Strega [in the North End], Jumbos [Chinatown.] If youre within the north end be sure to stop by Mikes Pastry ;] & if youre surrounded by the Boston Area there is also some pretty cool stuff surrounded by Salem, like the witch museums, haunted houses, and on Pickering Wharf contained by Salem theres a bunch of little shops and restaurants.
4th of July fireworks on the Esplanade if you don't mind crowds. You can check them out from the Cambridge side of the river too.
