I'm looking to rent a shore house within southern cali.. recomendations?
We (about 6 people) want to do this over the summer from june to late august, and we aren't exactly rich. Little relief please?

If you aren't rich but you want to rent a beach house for 3 months, the math doesn't work. Decent rental rates for houses in the vicinity the beach areas are going to turn to year round renters not month-to-month summer only renters.

Leucadia, Ocean Beach if you like the more hippie type shore, Oceanside. Oceanside is probably your best bet for lower prices but nothing is going to be cheap. You can also obtain on Craigslist for the area that's a well-mannered source
Check out pennyrealty. I would recommend checking out Mission Beach for a rental for the summer. I prefer the creek side, though.
