What is the weather close to surrounded by Chicago, IL at the bring to a close of April?
I will be visiting Chicago at the finish off of April and would like to know what munificent of weather to expect. Will I be able to wear flip-flops? Will I entail a coat? Whats the average temp?

I would suggest that you bring at most minuscule a light coat. It's rugged to say what the weather will be resembling though. It may be warm contained by the 60's or we might still be getting flurries. Also, bring an umbrella.

i would bring a light jacket, but i own lived her all my natural life and for the most part at the stop of april you will be looking at highs within the upper sixties or low to mid seventies...but like others on here own said it's usually one extreme or the other.the far range forecast call for above average temps by as much as fifteen degrees going into may so probably upper seventies low eighty's. but probably a year or two of low 50's. hence the jacket suggestion!!

Right now the weather here within Chicago is switching back and forth between really nice Spring weather (50's -60's) to a bit colder and Autumn-like weather. (40's and blowy and rainy.)

Really you can never tell how melt or cold it will be here. This morning it was nearly 60 out and tomorow its supposed to snow. Rarely its thaw out enough for flip flops, and you will obligation a coat or a sweatshirt at least. Don't forget that its call the windy city for a pretext. Also its significantly colder downtown because of the lake front. The right news is there's plenty of shopping around near if you need to pick something up!
