Why does daylights abiding not apply to Pheonix?

Our state merely didn't want it.
The state policy didn't have a use for it, so we don't switch over. :)
Arizona (except some Indian Reservations), Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa own chosen not to observe Daylight Saving Time.
Why? Because the state government granted it was useless and fixed not to do it. Frankly, I agree. The only disadvantage is remembering how plentiful hours difference there is between yourself and east coast business hours depending on the time of year.
