How is the weather contained by Las Vegas surrounded by January?

It can catch really cold here in Jan. especially if it's breezy. We had a really impossible freeze last year.
I been to Las Vegas alot. It's really cold in that during the winter. Usually about 40-50 degree every day.
I live here & closing Jan it didn't get over 44 durring the daylight. At night it get cold my animals water freezes most of Jan. & We win more rain contained by Aug than we do in Jan. We capture windy, Jan is stormy offten.
