Road Trip From Los Angeles, CA to Seattle, WA?
I am planning a roat trip to Seattle, WA from Los Angeles, CA. I was wondering which would be the best stops to build on the way to WA and rear from WA. To WA I am planning to take road along the the deep i believe 101N . I just dont know which cities and places i should stop by on the path to WA. or should i rather verbs to 5N for some better cities?
What are some great places to see and visit on the approach to WA?

hwy1 big sur, redwood forest,eureka, then 299 to redding, chief for Lassen volcanic park( little yellowstone)
Then go I-5 north and 62 to crater water
