Hotels contained by LA?

Anyone know of any decent hotels within a safe slice of LA. I'm planning on going to Disneyland, so fairly close to at hand. As of right now, I'm looking at the Crowne Plaza Hotel surrounded by the LAX airport. Has anyone stayed there? Is that airport a really long drive to disneyland? It say 30 something miles, which isn't very far contained by MT but I'm not sure about CA. Any guidance would help!

I work at LAX. Airport hotels are all great places to stay, BUT they are over 30 miles from Disneyland and i.e. a hard drive next to our terrible traffic. Go to the AAA (Auto Club) and catch their Tour book and find a place in Anaheim. They own lots and lots of hotels and motels available. And it is a nice area. Your can try the internet next to Anaheim Chamber of Commerce. Good Luck. Oops just thought of something. If you do stay at a hotel close to LAX, you can bear a Disneyland Bus and Supershuttle from the Airport and not have to drive
"Cope" & "Kingsley" are both correct in the order of getting a hotel / motel near Anaheim.

LAX is kinda adjectives by its self so to speak. The hotels there are tremendously nice, but mainly geared toward business travelers, not vacationers. (And they're priced accordingly)

If you stay closer to Anaheim you will be out among the "common" society so there will be shopping centers, restaurants, and other popular attractions that you won't find right subsequent to the airport.(including the airplane noise adjectives night long). Most of the lodging within the Anaheim area also offer shuttle service to/from Disneyland.

May I suggest that if time permits that you spend at tiniest part of in the future at nearby Huntington Beach. Sand, surf, and lots of sentimental local shops to explore. A truely picturesque destination.

You are coming from a stunningly beautiful state. Welcome to California, and hold a great time.
If you are going to call round Disneyland, you will want to stay in Anaheim. The closer to Disneyland, the better. 30 within MT is nothing similar to 30 miles in LA, which can smoothly take 90 minues.

I outstandingly recommend the Howard Johnson Anaheim and Candy Cane Inn, which are within walking distance of the front entrance to Disneyland. You won't hold to pay for parking at Disneyland, which will recover you $11 per day. If you want to stay close, but not that close, stay at the Doubletree or Embassy Suites, they are excellent.
For Disneyland you want to stay within Anaheim since that is where on earth it is at. There are some good hotels next to decent rates on Ball Road and Katella Avenue which border Disneyland on it's North and South ends. Even on the East conclude on Harbor Blvd has a few polite hotels. All these places are right across the street from Disneyland and you can shuttle in from the hotel or a moment ago walk within since it's not that far to do so.
Quality Inn on Olympic Blvd is Great for getting to Disney!(Good Central Location)
Most of L.A is Very Safe these days!
pick a place within Anahiem
