I agree with end post, that's why I don't ride the #7 train on the weekend, too much track. When will it end??
the 7 train is one of the better manage lines, with frequent service even to the point of track congestion during evening rush. but still, the trains are other packed, and any wrench thrown into the calendar makes trains even more crowded.
the worse is weekend construction where on earth trains must go express, forcing populace to ride a local train back to skipped stations. very soon the trains not running in some section, and people own to take buses while they install topical signals.
The non-stop construction and the messed up ways the MTA announces it.
Plus, the "7" line have been given the "leftover" trains that be on the "4" and "6" line since the 80's.
