i've lived here for a little over a month. i own a job.
but i enjoy unique taste. i like anime, and i speak japanese, but in that are no sit down cafe like places within japantown.
at least none that own wifi. well here is one but thats more in the korean fragment of Jtown.
and it's just awkward to start discussion to people inside kinokuniya, in attendance really should be a place where race can sit down and read the books.

Try going to an anime convention or something, and find some events or classes that people you would want to be friends beside will be at.
Go to craigslist, you can find almost anything nearby.
