Any pointers on what not to bring on going to the US of A markedly contained by NY.?
I'm planning to take an exam for licensure contained by the United States and it's my first time to go contained by the US mainland, anything which is not permissible to bring within, so i'll not end up throwing things around.

drugs...guns...might want to leave those at home.
guns, ammunition, drugs, bombs, raw meat products, fresh cheeses, plants, exotic animals, exotic animal products including ivory, and skins, historic antiques, communicable diseases, a criminal record, radioactive textile, porno, fake us passport, not genuine us visa, and fake us money,
..but you can bring them surrounded by only if you hold official us administration documentation that allows you to do so. for products from endangered animal (skins, ivory) you call for cites documentation.
In nonspecific, the US really only care about the most important stuff: Drugs, weapons, pornography beside children.
If you take prescription medication, bring your prescription (the one on the bottle is fine).
That said, there are some auxiliary restrictions at the airport...
- Unnecessary electronics. Sometimes they get really worried if you enjoy "weird" or non-functional electronics at the airport. A laptop is fine, but avoid anything that could look sketchy. If you do have something grotesque, like for your profession, it's not not permitted, but they might check you out more.
- Flammable stuff
- Uncooked fruits, vegetables or meat. Also plants and soil samples. They're worried going on for pests. If you do pack some bananas for your trip, just munch through them before you acquire off the plane.

2. Any Liquid Subtance outside of your airport/ferry proceeds.

Also, you inevitability to have passport because it going to be within effect on cruise also.
You flying in? Toiletries = Nothing over 120gm and adjectives in one litre backpack.
If you have drug make sure it's within the prescription bottle or package.
Don't bring lots of little heaps especially "fanny pack." If you want to look/dress like a local, bring nought and shop once you are here.
Very Important - study a map before you set out! You'll want to know where you are and how to win where you're going!
Most Important - Bring your smile and lots of mercy. They'll make your trip much more pleasing! :)

also, no sharp things, (scissors,nail files,etc) especially surrounded by carry-on, no lighters, matches
boxes of battery, and pencils-they look funny on xray, and they'll make you interested the bag.
also no wrapped gifts- you'll finishing up opening them
nil that looks like any of the above on xrays
no live animals.
