take the L train to 14th St-union square. get sure you are at the middle of the train because when you get stale at 14th st, you need to dance to the middle of the station where within are two staircases that go directly to the R train.
pinch the downtown R two stops to "prince st" and then amble down one block to 515 Broadway (on the corner of spring)
as an alternative, when the L train arrives at 14th st-union square, you can walk around the station and look for the 6 train. the 6 will travel to spring st, and you just own to walk 1 block over to broadway.
