Looking for a Los Feliz Apartment?
Hubby and I are currently in Van Nuys. He purely got a unusual job at Hollywood and Vermont within the Los Feliz area. We don't enjoy a car, so walking distance to work would be awesome for him. We're not used to with that nouns, so I'm not sure what the "good" and "bad" areas are. If there even is such a point. Our lease here is up in a month and we enjoy 2 cats. We need a one bedroom. Hoping for something around the $1000/month scale. Also open to North Hollywood if it is walking distance to the red string. If anyone has any companies they've rented from or worked beside or buildings with vacancies, could you permit me know? Craigslist has be kind of a bust lately, so I be hoping that someone on here might be able to backing. We're not native to CA, so any warning is GREATLY appreciated.

With 2 cats, you're not going to get a 1BR surrounded by Los Feliz for $1,000. It's a really nice area, and the owners know it. People LOVE living close to Griffith Park. With pets, you're going to enjoy to pay extra. Your pets may be verbs, but you can bet the landlord remembers the time some outmoded lady kept 100 cats contained by her place and it ruined the floors!
Round up the usual suspects: Craigslist, apartment.com, etc.
Or, you may just entail to go driving around!
It's a nice nouns, but I doubt you can find an apt there for that money. My first apt contained by LA was right on Los Feliz, at 4602, and I endorse by there from time to time. It's a nice elder building with lots of charm, single about 16 unit, safe as I remember it, and relatively spacious. That would be a nice stroll, but not in this precipitation...
I think the full Los Feliz area is nice. Maybe in recent times get a bus over to near and check it out. The closer you get to the work location, the worse the nouns. Go north for the better areas, but also more costly.
As for NH, I designed the NH Red Line Station! (You can find my post on this in Answers surrounded by the last few days.) All true... You could also be anywhere along the Orange Line and bear the bus over to the station and then surrounded by on the Red Line, so you have that odds. Housing would be less expensive contained by the Valley, but it is hotter and not as nice in my estimation.
