I think they sold the other one because the property be more valuable to casinos and they know they could do the same entry further off the Strip.
Wet n Wild was closed to cause way for a hotel call Vegas Towers Paul Lowden owned the property and leased it to the dampen park. Wet n Wild closed in 2005. Closing sunshine of Wet n Wild there be a sign that said they would be back surrounded by 2 years. But, no word yet if they will in actuality reopen and if they do reopen where. The property be then sold surrounded by the summer of 2006 but according to http://vegastodayandtomorrow.com it is still to be Vegas Towers
The reason they get rid of it is because they sold the property. The former wet n natural is the home site of new dignified rise condos. That go for a miniumum of 2 mil.
There own been copious rumors about building a topical water park contained by the greater las vegas valley. The closet entry is they are building one in RENO... Other than that you still enjoy Raging Waters to go to contained by So. CAL.
If it brings in pleasure to mind. Disneyland have bought over 180 acres of land surrounded by Pahrump last year. So that should be interesting. Only time will put in the picture.
$$$$$$$$$$ is the point for closing the property. Strip property is selling for $$ that you can't even imagine. They are going to build a wet park off the strip and I am pretty sure it will be an indoor park so it will get hold of more use year round.
