What are the best disney world restaurants?

what is the best for familys food and Characters

Answers:
The best for Princesses is the Breakfast at the Castle. There is also a honest Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian (1900 Park Fare). The Winnie the Pooh and Friends at the Crystal Palace is good. The buffets are not your mundane buffets. Definitely worth it, especially if you are on the Meal Plan.
Not a Character meal but near is an Italian restaurant at Downtown Disney that is fabulous!!
You should check out www.allearsnet.com and click on dining.

They own all of the info you want, from price, to full menus listed (so you can see if the food appeals to you), characters here (if any).

They have it organized really economically, you can find all of the restaurants surrounded by the parks, downtown disney, as all of the resorts.

I love that site! It's a wonderful tool contained by planning a WDW vacation.
My husband and I have our first character dinnertime at Donald's Breakfastaurous, we were in that in untimely May of 2007 and we found it quite pleasing. The place was full but we did not continue very long at the buffet vein and we were competent to get pictures near all the characters as they stopped at respectively table [Goofy, Donald, Pluto and Mickey if I remember correctly]. Also, we thought the food was pretty accurate. Hope this helps.
Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary (character)

'Ohana at the Polynesian

Spoodles at the Boardwalk

Le Cellier within Canada (Epcot)

San Angel Inn in Mexico (Epcot)

Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge

Hoop Dee Doo Revue (Dinner Show)
Club Mickey in the Contemporary Hotel. Informal buffet. The Characters dance around from table to table. About $25 for adults. The food is nothing short of excellent. Prime rib be one of the entrees served the last time I ate nearby and it was the best I own ever had. Make your reservations rash, like a couple of weeks if at all possible. Some times you can get surrounded by easy, other times...

Disney have a lot of great restaurants beside character experiences. Club Mickey is but one. Good luck.
If your kids are between 9-17 you should consider the 50's prime time cafe (a) the studios.
No characters, but surrounded by my opinion the BEST THEMED restaurant.
No elbows on table, did you hose you hands contained by the bathroom?(what color is the soap then?) no dessert lacking finishing your meal. The cook is other referred to as "mom", etc etc.

Otherwise if your kids are young and close to the sights of characters - Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. Lots of kids choices to eat, its a buffet, and the characters not single visit but will also team up together for celebrating next to a song and twirling dinner napkins.
I've never had a bleak character dinner--and my kids are 8, 5 and nearly 2, so I've be to a lot of them!

That said, here are my favorite individuality dining venues:
1) Crystal Palace, Magic Kingdom. Winnie the Pooh and his friends, and the restaurant itself is gorgeous.

2) Chef Mickey's, Contemporary Resort. I close to breakfast better than dinner.

3) Princess Storybook (Akershus), in Epcot contained by the Norway area. Lots of princesses, and again the restaurant is nice looking. I prefer lunch or dinner because the food is so much more interesting.

No characters, but honest places to eat:
1) Biergarten, Germany surrounded by Epcot. Music and dancing and fitting food and beer.

2) Mama Melrose's in Hollywood Studios. I really loved this place; it be peaceful and the food be good.

3) Tony's Town Square surrounded by Magic Kingdom. Again a really pretty restaurant and decent food. We be seated quickly and the food arrived promptly.

4) Rose & Crown Dining Room, United Kingdom, Epcot. Great spectacle of fireworks from the outdoor seating nouns; food excellent and servers friendly.

Do NOT recommend:
1) Donald's Breakfastosaurus, Tusker House, Animal Kingdom. When we visited second it was contained by another location, but it was immensely noisy and frantic.

2) Rainforest Cafe, Downtown Disney. The daylight we visited it be pouring down rain outside, and they didn't form us for an hour even though they had several, many withdraw from tables within the restaurant. If you pay an extra $15 they will form you right away. By the time we were seated the food would hold to have be cooked in France next flown over on the Concorde to make me jovial.

3) Hollywood and Vine. I just didn't safekeeping for the food.

4) Spirit of Aloha dinner show, Polynesian. I thought it was greatly expensive for the quality of the food and the show.

Set up adjectives your advance dining reservations as soon as possible once you've chosen your time off dates. Enjoy!
I am not sure the label but the best food I had at Disney would be the buffet at Disneys Animal Kingdom I regard it is called Bomo or something. Awesome but no characters
