Where's the best place to stay within Miami?
I would like to be close to the shore, somewhere nice and clean, and not too expensive!

Go to yahoo and look at the hotel rates. The farther you are from the beach the cheaper. If u stay to hand the airport the beach areas look far a agency from a map but really it will take u close to 15-20 minutes

When I went to Miami I stayed within Bay Biscayne which is near the port, it was fab! the hotel intercontinental is to a certain extent cheap and also the Marriott is not as expensive as you think and the view are fabulous! You will love Miami I did!

I think you should plainly get a hotel right on the shore so that you could just pace out of your hotel and the beach will be a moment ago a few feet away.. Truly the best places to stay will be Eden Roc, the Fountainbleau, and the Delano, but they are pricey (though I focus its worth it!).. other than that you can stay at any Days Inn surrounded by Miami beach or South sand, thats always cheap and not too unpromising.. Last summer I stayed at one place called the Deauville Beach Resort and it be OK, not too expensive, and the view be nice..

Check the prices. You probably want to stay in South Beach. It isn't cheap but you could find a business.
