Going on a short business trip to Los Angeles.?
I usually bring presents back but enjoy never been to LA previously. Any ideas as to what to buy for my Wife and 11yr antediluvian Daughter. Oh and it's my Wife's birthday and our Wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks so I could go and get a pressie for her out there.

whoever suggested melrose is awesome haha. Melrose Ave has everything. The integral Hollywood star thing is a bit cheesy.
There's so several places you really just own to be lucky to come across them. But Melrose is a nice suggestion.
One item that just scream Hollywood is a replica of a star from the Walk of Fame. You can purchase them in Hollywood or on the Internet, and even bring back one customized with someone's first name. There are locations at Grauman's Chinese Theater or at the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood & Highland.
