4-5 days but holidays and weather slow things down this time of year
they should have gotten it by in a minute. did you use regular mail or priority? regular e-mail usually takes 3-5 days and priority usually take 1-3. check usps.com and go to "multiply prices" and see if you can get a better estimate. i judge they shouldve gotten it by now though
If it be from a major city contained by CA, it should only be perchance a day longer than commonplace. If you are in the sticks within CA it should be at least next to in 5 business days.
If it be heavier than a standard letter they might distribute it back to you for extra postage.
If it be a truly important memorandum you would be wiser to pay extra so that they hold to sign for it. Then you'd have the acceptance mailed put a bet on to you.
Obviously it wasn't THAT momentous, or you would have sent it registered communication, signature required.
It take about 4-5 days. 3, if you're lucky.
I own a letters order business.
Items lower than 1# are sent 1st class unless you ask for it to go differently. 1st class postage below 1# is treated exact the same as Priority messages. All first class envelopes & packages under 1# and adjectives Prioity mail/packages should arrive in 3 days or smaller quantity not counting weekends or postal holidays. Your item has be in the messages 6 days, soemthing is fishy... The post offiec does not guarentee delivey times though, except for overnight, which is guarenteed to arrive in 2 days, travel figure.
Sometimes it takes up to a week. Also post so often take lost. Ask the post office to trace the dispatch, and don't give up until you own a satisfactory answer.
