I am planning a trip to Chicago and...?
I am indifferent on how I want to travel there. I be going to drive there and use my saloon as transportation. Or, I was thinking nearly taking the train and using this CTA system I keep reading almost. The thing is I don't really want to be confused and panicky to ride around all afternoon on this CTA. So, for you people who any have visit and used the CTA or live there, how effortless is this system to use?

Well I live contained by Chicago and take the CTA every daylight but it depends on where you are staying and where on earth you will need to win to. will you be staying in a hotel downtown and obligation to travel to the normal tourist sites, etc. Overall the Public transportation system is exceptionally convenient and very past the worst.
The trains are very effortless to use. Inside each station within are maps and times posted. bmh423 - the CTA is EASY to use. If you have ever ridden on a bus or subway earlier, then you can ride the CTA. You can find a FREE CTA transit map at most CTA el stations or at the CTA office within the Merchandise Mart. Or you can write and the CTA will mail one to you (www.transitchicago.com).
The CTA is also cheaper than driving (and parking), especially within the downtown area of Chicago. Each bus/train ride is $1.75(bus)/$2.00(el) but you can bring a CTA Visitor pass for unlimited rides. Passes cost: 1 time - $5, 2 day-$9, 3 day-$12, 5 day - $18 and 7 light of day - $20.
