Are here any Disney World Cast Members out nearby?
I am having trouble getting an answer to this press as to if you can bring your own ECV into Disney World and let a four year antiquated ride on it. Several have answered that if it is your own, they allow it, but I call guest relations yesterday and the lady said no. She have no helpful identity like most do that answer the phones, but anyhow, what is the answer to this? I even get an answer from one cast appendage that said yes, and that she rides her grandson on hers? Thanks

Hi Shari! Well I am a former Disney World Cast Member. I know I've see guests on ECV units, allowing their children or grandchildren to ride contained by their lap occasionally (although I recommend letting them stroll most of the day if they can as it is a bit awkward). But to be sure, I contacted Disney World's Transportation department and spoke beside a manager. She said that since it is your own section and your own child, there are no policies that will restrict you from letting them ride beside you - they just ask that you be out of danger, of course. they will not allow a 4 year old to ride on an ECV that they rent to you. Its age and liability and you involve to sign a waiver and have proof of ID. I would allow your son to ride on your knees. Thats not illegal. As he is not physically driving it. Or if you bring your own from home than he can ride it himself.
You can other rent 3 and see what they tell you. But I wouldnt risk it. Personally I would kind him walk as much as he can do and after let him sit surrounded by your lap.
